HENRY REPEATING ARMS H1 CLASSIC YOUTH MODEL .22 WMR LEVER ACTION RIFLE The H1 Classic Youth Model is built to give young shooters a safe, comfortable, and confidence-building introduction to the shooting sports. Crafted on Henry’s trusted H1 lever-action platform, it delivers the same smooth operation, accuracy, and American-made reliability as the full-size rifles—scaled specifically for smaller frames and first-time users. Its design encourages proper handling from the very first session, helping young shooters develop good habits that will last a lifetime. Fit is one of the most important considerations in selecting a youth rifle, and the H1 Classic Youth Model is sized perfectly for growing shooters. A shorter length of pull enables kids to shoulder the rifle naturally, maintain solid control, and focus on fundamentals like sight alignment and trigger discipline. At just 4.5 pounds, the rifle is easy to manage, reducing fatigue and keeping range time productive and enjoyable. Parents will appreciate Henry’s smooth, predictable lever action, which cycles at a deliberate pace that encourages mindful operation. Unlike semi-automatic designs, the manual action allows parents to oversee each step—loading, cycling, and firing—reinforcing safe habits and confidence with every shot. The built-in ¼-cock safety provides an additional measure of security during handling and instruction. Chambered exclusively in .22 Magnum / .22 WMR, the H1 Classic Youth Model delivers a step up in capability without introducing harsh recoil. This powerful rimfire option provides excellent accuracy and an ideal balance of performance for families who want a youth rifle that can grow with developing skills. From early range sessions to responsible small-game hunting, the .22 WMR chambering offers both versatility and room for progression. A shortened barrel keeps the overall length compact while preserving the balance and accuracy Henry rifles are known for. Key features include a blued steel barrel, an adjustable rear sight, a hooded front sight, and a 3/8” grooved receiver for easy scope mounting when the time is right. Like every Henry rimfire, the H1 Classic Youth Model is proudly made in America and stocked with genuine American walnut—rare craftsmanship in a youth rifle and a point of pride for families looking for quality that lasts. Safe, lightweight, easy to operate, and built to endure, the H1 Classic Youth Model in .22 Magnum is far more than a beginner’s rifle. It’s a trusted tool for learning, improving, and eventually passing down—an ideal choice for families seeking the finest youth lever-action rifle available today.
